Ladies European Tour: Helen Briem claims stunning seven-shot victory at Jabra Ladies Open

Germany's Helen Briem triumphed in sensational style at the 2026 Jabra Ladies Open de France - finishing a full seven shots clear of her nearest opponent.

The 20-year-old was a clear winner at Evian Resort Golf Club to clinch her second Ladies European Tour (LET) title.

Briem rolled in three birdies in four holes in a spell between holes 11 and 14 to secure the largest margin of victory of the 2026 LET season, finishing 12-under-par for the tournament.

"It's been a long time [coming]," said Briem. "I came close a couple of times and I didn't make it, but it's a great venue to get my second win. It's great over here, and it was a great weekend.

"I actually did not really know the standings, so I was always trying to push and make birdies and giving myself opportunities. Then I birdied 11, 12, then 14 and it was easy from there on. I had a couple opportunities in the last four holes, but I'm really happy.

"I actually don't drink alcohol, so that's probably not going to be the case [the celebration], but my sister is playing next week, so I'll be with her for a couple days, and then get ready for the U.S."

Three players ended the week in a share of second place with Singapore's Shannon Tan, Wales' Lydia Hall and Ireland's Sara Byrne all on five-under-par - with former LET winner Hall securing her best finish of the 2026 season and Byrne recording her best-ever finish on the tour.

"I'm really happy with that week to be tied second, my best-ever LET finish and first time in the final group," said Byrne. "Today was probably the best golf I played all week, unfortunately not one out wanted to drop for me all day.

"I gave myself so many opportunities. I'm so proud of how I handled myself out there and this has been a fun week. It's been really fun being back on Tour and putting myself in contention."

The Ladies European Tour now takes a two-week break before continuing its European swing at the Dutch Ladies Open from June 19-21 at Goyer Golf & Country Club in the Netherlands.

The next women's major is the US Women's Open from June 4-7, held at Riviera Country Club in California. or .
