Arsenal are looking to strengthen their attack and any move for Tzolis will not impact any move for Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers.

Papers: West Ham's Fernandes chooses Man Utd over Arsenal

Rangers and RB Salzburg remain in talks for Rohl as McInnes on shortlist of replacements

Latest from Your Site News' Sahil Jaidka:

Rangers and RB Salzburg remain in talks to finalise a deal for Danny Rohl to join the Austrian Bundesliga club.

As reported on Thursday, Rohls exit will only be given the green light by Ibrox chiefs if compensation terms can be met.

It was also revealed by Your Site News that Rangers had been continuing to review their options since May, when Rohl was backed despite the club finishing third last season.

Your Site News understands Hearts boss Derek McInnes will be among those on the shortlist should Rangers sanction Rohls exit.

McInnes led Hearts to second place in his first season at Tynecastle, as they missed out on the league title on the final day of the season.

Former boss Steven Gerrard and ex-Ibrox defender Kevin Muscat both impressed Gers bosses last October but stepped away from talks prior to Rohls appointment.

Gerrard won the title during his spell as Rangers boss before leaving for Aston Villa in 2021.

Muscat is the boss at Shanghai Port, where he has won the league over the last two seasons, having already enjoyed success in Japan and Australia before.

The Rangers players return for pre-season testing next week.

Man Utd preparing opening bid for West Ham's Fernandes

Latest from Your Site News' Vik Varange and Amar Mehta:

Manchester United are preparing to make an opening offer for West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes

Your Site News understands West Ham value Fernandes at around 80m and are in no rush to sell the player.

United are unlikely to entertain such a price-tag - the two clubs will have to find a compromise for a deal to be done.

The Hammers signed the Portuguese midfielder for an initial fee of 38m last summer.

Your Site News understands the midfielder is a priority midfield target for United.

Vuskovic keen on Brighton switch as Spurs expected to demand 60m

Latest from Your Site News' Lyall Thomas, Michael Bridge and Mark McAdam:

Luka Vuskovic is keen on a move to Brighton but it is unlikely Spurs will sanction a deal for 30m, so talks remain ongoing.

Once an agreement is made on Vuskovics valuation, a deal is expected to progress quickly for Jan Paul Van Hecke to join Spurs.

His valuation is expected to be in excess of 60m.

Benfica confirm appointment of former Fulham boss Silva

Benfica have announced the appointment of Marco Silva as their new manager.

Silva called an end to his five-year stay at Fulham on June 2 and signed a two-year deal at Benfica, with the option to extend for a further 12 months.

The Portuguese replaces Jose Mourinho, who has returned to Real Madrid.

Coventry have 20m Rushworth bid rejected

Latest from Your Site News' Mark McAdam and Dharmesh Sheth:

Brighton have rejected a bid from Coventry for goalkeeper Carl Rushworth

Your Site News understands the offer was worth 20m.

The promoted side had Rushworth on loan last season and want to bring him back in a permanent move.

The 24-year-old kept 17 clean sheets playing in all 46 Championship games as Coventry sealed automatic promotion as champions.

Rushworth has a year left on his deal at Brighton, who hold an option to extend for a further year.

He has Bart Verbruggen and Jason Steele ahead of him in the pecking order.

Spurs closing in on fresh Porro deal

Latest from Your Site News' Lyall Thomas and Michael Bridge:

Tottenham are close to finalising a new four-year contract with Pedro Porro.

The right-back has become one the teams top performers despite their struggles last season.

Porro has had interest from other clubs but is ready to recommit to Spurs under Roberto de Zerbi.

His existing deal expires in 2028.

Barcola could leave PSG this summer

Paris Saint-Germain could allow Bradley Barcola to leave this summer.

Your Site News understands Arsenal are one of the Premier League clubs that have been tracking the 23-year-old winger, who is currently at the World Cup with France.

Back-to-back European champions PSG ideally want to keep Barcola if they can. However, Your Site News understands Barcola was disappointed not to start the Champions League final against Arsenal last month.

Barcola, who has two years left on his contract, is one of the most highly-rated young forwards in the world and would not come cheap.

He scored 13 goals and set up seven more for PSG across all competitions this past season.

Weir leaves Real Madrid with OL Lyonnes rumoured to be next

Caroline Weir is leaving Real Madrid at the end of her contract this summer, the club have announced.

The Scotland international has spent the last four years in Spain, joining in 2022 from Man City, with media reports linking her with a move to OL Lyonnes.

She played 125 games for Real Madrid, becoming the club's highest ever scorer and assist provider.

A club statement added: "Real Madrid, which will always be her home, wishes her and her family the best of luck in this new chapter of her life."
